George Anthony Cox III, 65, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2025.

George was born in Vineland and graduated high school in 1978. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Chinnici-Coleman; his father, George Anthony Cox, Jr.; his brother, Dennis Cox; his sister, Terry Cox Burritt; his niece, Victorica Cox Rokosny (Tyler); and his nephews, Austin Burritt and Anthony Cox.

Growing up, George would spend his time shooting hoops, playing pool, watching football, or strumming a guitar with his many friends and cousins. He also enjoyed old muscle cars, and going to the horse races, especially attending the Kentucky Derby. He was an avid pool player and competed locally and out of state.

As a teenager, George began his work life as a garment presser for Dale Fashions, a factory owned by his family. He later became a mason until he ventured into the flooring industry.

Relatives and friends will be received on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Avenue, Vineland. A memorial service will follow at 1:00pm. Interment will be held privately.

I remember driving to Delaware on Friday afternoons to pick George up to bring him to vineland for the weekends then back to Delaware on Sunday nights. Best memory of him is George celebrating his birthday the whole month of august. And those damn suspenders

Sorry to hear this. I knew George back when we would shoot pool at Alexanders' bar. George was a great guy. Very laid back. Have a lot of good memories. RIP
