George Roy Daffer Jr. died unexpectedly on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at the age of 67.
George was born on June 29, 1957, in Duncan Oklahoma to parents George Roy Daffer Sr. and Norma Daffer. He graduated from Norman High School in 1975 and went on to work odd jobs that allowed him to pursue his hobbies and always keep life interesting, working long term as an overnight clerk in a hotel. George was accomplished in Computer Building and Gardening, building computers for his niece and nephew when they were kids. He was a kind and quiet individual who loved animals and was passionate about rescue cats, owning several of his own and helping strays. He was known for his long beard and laid-back attitude. His presence will be deeply missed.
George is Survived by his Brother Steven Daffer of Norman Oklahoma, Nephew Zach Daffer of Norman Oklahoma, Niece Lauren Daffer and partner Remington Butler of Norman Oklahoma, and close friend and roommate Krystal Lewis and her son Rodney of Norman Oklahoma.
He is preceded in Death by his Father George Roy Daffer Sr, Mother Norma Daffer, Brother Kevin Daffer, as well as grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
A memorial service is pending and will be announced soon.
