George Edward Demko, 93, of Allentown, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2024. Born in Northampton, he was the son of the late Jacob William and Bertha Mary (Resh) Demko. His loving wife Burdell M. Demko, passed away in 2019. George was a proud member of the United States Army. He later became a USPS Carrier at the US Postal Service in Allentown for 30 years before retiring in 1996. He loved to sing, handwrite letters to loved ones, root for the Philadelphia Eagles, and had a great sense of humor.
Surviving are his Children: Ricky, predeceased by his wife Debra; Cindy Lou Stauffer, and her husband Donald; Siblings: Donald Demko and Pearl Wagner; and Grandson: Justin Demko, and his wife Fatima. He was predeceased by his Son: Jeffrey Demko; and Siblings: Pauline, Mable, Gertrude, and Jacob.
Services will be held privately. To leave online condolences, please visit his "Book of Memories" at falkfuneralhomes.com In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the "American Red Cross" 3939 Broadway, Allentown, PA 18104.

George, you are now relieved from your post. A job well done fellow veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final bugle has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation“s defender. Farewell fellow veteran.
