Edward M. "Ed" Zadlo, 84, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 17th, 2024. Born in Lansdale, he was the son of the late Anthony and Rose (Purri) Zadlo. Ed held a bachelor's degree from LaSalle University and a master's degree from Boston University. He worked as an electrical engineer for Solid State of Montgomeryville. He studied at the New England School of Ayurveda and throughout India.
Edward was a spiritual guide to hundreds of students. His philosophical teachings taught us that Yoga was more than exercise. He had vast knowledge of Vedic teachings, including Yoga, Ayurveda, Meditation, and Astrology. He was initiated in the Kriya Yoga lineage. He generously blessed so many of us, sharing his knowledge. He will be missed.
Ed is survived by his brother, Anthony Zadlo of Hatfield; 8 nieces and nephews; and 22 great and great great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his friends and caregivers, Larry Mangel of Philadelphia and Ellen Bradford of Doylestown and his many friends and students from the Yoga community. He was preceded in death by his sister Patricia A., wife of Earl Alcott.
He will be cremated and his cremated remains will be returned to nature. A memorial service will be announced in the future. Please visit his "Book of Memories" at falkfuneralhomes.com for service information.
