George was born October 16, 1939 in Pilot Point, Tx and was adopted by George Bernard Diamond Sr. and Grace Evelyn Diamond.

On June 8th, 1979, he married Paula Kay Collins in Borger, Tx.

George attended WB Ray High School in Corpus Christi, Tx. After graduating, he served for four years in the US Coast Guard. After his service to his country, he attended Del Mar College for two years before starting a management career in the grocery business. He then went to work for Phillips 66, at the Borger Refinery where he retired after more than 20 years of service. George loved the lord and his country. He was member of Southlawn Baptist Church in Amarillo, Tx.

He loved family time especially with the grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed going to South Fork, Colorado where he and Paula built their dream cabin. They enjoyed the fishing, snowmobiling, skiing, and rock hunting especially with the kids. He had the biggest caring heart and was a champion at caring for his special needs son, Paul Shannon Sisneros. He made sure Paul was always able to do what the rest of the family was doing. That included theme parks, snowmobiling, fishing, riding horses, fun in the mountains and even driving.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Rose Marie Diamond, and a son, Paul Shannon Sisneros.

Survivors include his wife, Paula Diamond of the home; his children Raymond Curtis Sisneros, of Borger, Tx; Stephenie Mashburn and husband Dell of Amarillo, Tx; Debbie Chowins and husband Billy, of Borger, Tx; Greg Diamond and wife Kiersten of Bushland, Tx; Hope Diamond of Shamrock, Tx; Glen Diamond and wife Morissa of Kingsport, Tn; and Robin and husband Darren of Midlothian, Tx; grandchildren, Dustin, Brandon, Tiffenie, Joshua, Jason, Darya, Jordan, Miranda, Mike, Blaze, Brock, Tiffany, Cheyenne, Preston, Jack, Morrison, Jonathan and 17 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff at The Reserve at Amarillo for his care.
