George Raymond Drawdy, 60, of High Point, NC, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2025, at his home.
Mr. Drawdy was born June 9, 1965, in Newberry, Florida, to George Drawdy and Betty Sapp.
He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a devoted father. George had a great sense of humor and was always quick with a joke. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending quality time with his loved ones. He also loved racing, cheering on the Florida gators, and a good steak! His family meant the world to him, and he cherished every moment spent with his kids and 2 grandsons.
In addition to his father, George was preceded in death by his Mimi and Papa.
Left to cherish his memory are two sons, Ryan Drawdy (Marisa), and Aaron Drawdy (Wendy); one daughter, Samantha Brown (Joshua); wife, Linda Drawdy; his mother, Betty Sapp; two grandchildren, Griffin, and Brayden; and one brother, Stephen Drawdy.
No formal services will be held at this time.
