BUD DUNCAN

Walhalla – George "Bud" Manley Duncan, 92, husband of the late Barbara Smith Duncan, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at his nephew's residence.

Born on September 7, 1932, in Seneca, South Carolina, Bud was the son of the late Olin Van and Coree E. Cox Duncan. Bud retired from JP Stevens, where he worked for many years as a dedicated fixer. He also worked at Fairfield Grocery.

Bud is survived by his brother, Jimmy Duncan (Billy Ann); several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his special companion, Lola Henry.

In addition to his wife and parents, Bud is preceded in death by his brothers, Harold "Junior" Edward Duncan, Roger Duncan; sisters, Evelyn Turner, and Annie Mae O'Kelley.

Per Bud's wishes, no formal services will be held.

The family is at their respective homes. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bud's memory may be made to the Walhalla VFW Post 6830, P.O. Box 482, Walhalla, SC 29691. Condolences may be expressed online by visiting www.sandiferfuneralhome.com.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. My husband (Ray, he passed 9-15-21) and I worked at JP Stevens with him. He was a good man. We both thought the world of Bud. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
