George Gideon Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Frederick Funeral Home on Jul. 26, 2024.
In loving memory of George Frederick Gideon, He was a cherished son, father, grandfather, and brother. He was born on November 13, 1969, in Cincinnati, Ohio and peacefully passed away on July 25, 2024, at the age of 54, surrounded by his loving family. George touched the lives of many during his time on this earth as he was a beloved son to his parents George Gideon and Marilyn Gideon. A loving father of Aaron (Dylan) Gideon and Samantha Rycek. Cherished grandfather of Maximus Gideon, Lucas Gideon, Ashton Shields and Arlena Shields. Dear brother of Tammy (Mike Williams) Gideon, Lisa Duvall, Kevin Duvall, and Rick Duvall and uncle of Jacob, Tony, Kevin and Lauren. He will forever cherish the memorable moments he shared with his family.
George found joy in the simplicity of life, often seeking solace in the serenity of nature, whether he was casting a line while fishing on serene waters or stargazing under the night sky. His connection to the environment was evident in his peaceful demeanor.
Although he loved the outdoors, he had a real passion for cooking and pursued a career as a chef at Nick and Toms, Maury's Tiny Cove Steakhouse, Primavista and Route 50 Saloon. His dedication to his craft was evident in every dish he created, bringing joy to all who had the pleasure of tasting his creations. His passion for cooking went beyond the kitchen, where he shared his culinary creations with friends and family as he poured his heart into creating memorable dishes for all to enjoy.
A celebration of Georges life will be held at Route 50 Saloon, 251 Main St. Addyston, OH 45001 on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. As we mourn George's passing, we hold close memories of his love for the outdoors, his dedication to crafting delicious meals, and his unwavering love for his family. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, as they find solace in the memories they shared with him. May George rest in peace and his legacy of love and dedication be carried on by those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
