George Grause Obituary
Though his health declined in his final years, George never lost his sharp wit or his enduring fascination with the world around him and its wonders. He will be remembered for his patriotism, his service to his country and community, for his deep love for his wife and family, and for his unwavering faith.
George is survived by his wife of 59 years, Bonnie; his son Edward (Candice), of Crawfordville, Florida; beloved granddaughter, Sydney, of Tallahassee, Florida; sisters Virginia Kane of Wilder, Kentucky, and Mary Ann Sandfoss (Steve) of Fort Thomas, Kentucky; brothers John and Fred "Fritz" (Anne), also of Kentucky; and many cherished nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his father, Virgil, mother, Evelyn, and one brother, Mark.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, 12:00 pm, at the Tallahassee National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Knights of Columbus Charities, Inc. in George's memory.
