Age 90, passed away at comfortably at his home on Thur. Sept. 23, 2021. Born on June 23, 1931, in Athens, PA, son of the late, George & Margaret Barton Hadlock. From an early age, Bob had a strong work ethic. He was employed by the Elmira City School District in the maintenance dept. for 27 years. He was a loving and supportive husband to his cherished wife, Grace E. (Fisher) Hadlock until her passing in 1998. Bob was an outdoorsman. "The Preacher" loved to talk with family and friends and will be greatly missed by those who loved him. Surviving are his children, Todd (Peggy) Hadlock, Pine City, NY; and Tammy Hadlock, Las Vegas, NV; granddaughters, Sabrina (Jason) Andrews, Brittany (Mike Cobaugh) Hadlock, Katey Hadlock; great grandchildren, Olivia Andrews, Mason and Addison Cobaugh; brother, Richard (Marilyn) Hadlock; sisters, Susan Edger and Doris Barton; several nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents and wife, Bob was predeceased by his brothers, William E. Frederick and Thomas Hadlock; and his great granddaughter, Grace "Gracie" Margaret Andrews. Family & friends will be received at Caywood's Funeral Home & Gardens, 1126 Broadway, Southport/Elmira on Mon. Oct. 4, 2021 between the hours of 4-6 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Tue.
