George Hahn Obituary
He was born July 3, 1945, in Philipsburg, the son of Justin Williams and Elma (Hahn) Wiiliams.
George attended Cooper High School and then worked most of his life for J.H. France Refractories, Clarence.
He was a member of the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church where he served on the Church Council and Property Committee; and was a past manager of the the Quehanna Little League.
Mr. Hahn is survived by his wife, Dolores L. (Cardinale) Hahn whom he wed Sept. 12, 1970, in Karthaus; children, Pamela (Richard) Meek of Karthaus, Kenneth Hahn of Frenchville, and Scott Hahn of Frenchville, Bryan Hemphill of Frenchville, Annette (David) Luse of Frenchville, Lisa (Charles) McCombs of Rockledge, Fla., and Stacey (Becky) Hemphill of Pine Glen; 22 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Alice 'Faye' Tate of Karthaus.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Justin Hahn on May 8, 1988; and a sister, Joyce Ann Hahn.
A funeral service will be held at the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Vicki Beilfuss officiating.
Friends and family will be received at the church on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 4-7 p.m., and again on Thursday, from 10-11 a.m.
Interment will be in the Keewaydin Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 3637 Main St, Karthaus, PA 16845.
