George "Grandpa George" Harrison

HARRISON, Mr. George "Grandpa George" - age 75, passed away Friday, February 20, 2026 at Corewell Health in Royal Oak, Michigan. Family hour 10:30AM Tuesday, March 3, 2026 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 North Perry Street, with funeral service commencing immediately at 11:00AM. Pastor Earl O. Crump, officiating. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 North Perry Street. Friends and pallbearers will assemble 10:30AM at the funeral home Tuesday. Mr. Harrison will lie instate in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 8:00AM until time of service Tuesday.

Mr. Harrison leaves to cherish his memory: his children, George Leach, Tonika Shelton, Kai George Harrison, Demarcus Shelton and Stephanie Harrison; 30 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Rosie Harrison, Osie Harrison, Douglas Harrison, Arthur Harrison, Tommie Harrison and Lucius Harrison; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Harrison was preceded in death by his daughter, Estelle Harrison; parents, Eddie Taylor and Estelle Harrison; sisters, Eleonor Leak and Annie D. Harrison; and brothers, Alfonso and Charles Harrison
