George Earl Hazelwood, age 73, of Caneyville, passed away Thursday February 13, 2025 at residence in Caneyville.He was born in Summit KY. to William Buck and Beatrice Tindle Hazelwood. George was a truck driver and worked for himself as well as for Atlas Trucking and United. In the last few years he had done janitorial work.He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Gayle Hazelwood, his parent, two sisters, Betty Sue Hazelwood, and Donna Hazelwood.He is survived by his four daughters, Cassandra "Cassie" Sidenstricker of Elizabethtown, KY, Elizabeth "Beth" Hendricks of Caneyville, KY, Melissa Bryant of Cub Run., KY, Teresa Horton of Munfordville KY. a son, George Earl Hazelwood Jr of Horse Cave, KY.., a sister, Joyce Welch of Louisville, KYFuneral Services will be held Sunday February 16, 2025 6:00 pm at Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, KY With Bro. Tony Carson officiating.Visitation will be Sunday 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.Condolences may be expressed on-line at www.manakeefuneralhome.com
