Con gran tristeza anunciamos el fallecimiento de George Hernández, a los 28 años, el 30 de enero de 2026. Nació en Milwaukee, Wisconsin, y creció en San Antonio, Texas. George fue un hijo, hermano y amigo amoroso. Tenía una profunda pasión por la música, un amor por el fútbol y una carrera dedicada como técnico en histología.
George era hijo de Jaime y Patricia Hernández y hermano de Jaime Hernández Jr. Conocido por su naturaleza respetuosa, cariñosa y su fuerte ética de trabajo, siempre fue orientado a sus metas y devoto a su familia y amigos. George fue precedido en su muerte por su abuelo, Jaime Hernández.
Será profundamente extrañado por todos los que lo conocieron.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George Hernandez, age 28, on January 30, 2026. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and raised in San Antonio, Texas, George was a loving son, brother, and friend. He had a deep passion for music, a love for soccer, and a dedicated career as a histology technician.
George was the son of Jaime and Patricia Hernandez and brother to Jaime Hernandez Jr. Known for his respectful, caring nature, and strong work ethic, he was always goal-oriented and devoted to his family and friends. George was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jaime Hernandez.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Your smile always lit up a room. Seeing you around the hospital brightened my day and I will keep those memories with me. You made a difference here at Audie Murphy everyday to not only our Veterans and their families but also to everyone you met. You leave a legacy of kindness, a willingness to help anywhere you are needed and that smile! May God's mercy, love and grace surround you and your family and give you peace. We miss you dearly. George you were the best of us. You are missed everyday and I hope you are at peace. All the memories from when we first met (I.e. Georgina), to the more recent, making fun of my old age and memory problems; will be treasured always. God will take care of you as well as those you left behind. I pray for comfort and peace for you and your family daily. You were truly the best coworker and friend anyone could ask for. George, Rest Always in Love and Peace. I miss you.

George...I pray that you are at peace now with the Good Lord welcoming you with open arms. Praying that your family and friends can find peace and comfort and that they have the strength to deal with this difficult loss. You will truly be missed!
