George Howard

George Howard, age 89, of Jasper, Georgia, was born to the late Ben and Eva Brown Howard in Dahlonega, Georgia. Mr. Howard had a passion for dancing at The Pumpkin Patch, meeting with the breakfast club at Annies every morning, old cars, and gardening. Above all, his greatest love was his family and friends.

George was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patsy Ray Howard, and his siblings: Jack Howard, Homer Howard, Stella Mae Mulkey, Claude Howard, Mary Lou Bowers, Ernest Howard, Fay Howard, James Howard, and Lois Howard. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Steve Harrington; grandchildren, Danielle Bousselot and Jesse Richards; great-grandchildren, Liam Bousselot, Haley Millsaps, and Donovan Millsaps. He is also survived by his siblings, Clifford Howard, Ben Howard Jr. and wife Barbara, Billy Howard, Joann Hayes and husband Larry, and Jeannie Howard, as well as extended family and many friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, from 12 noon to 8 pm, and on Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 10 am until the 1 pm funeral service in the Robert A. Cagle Memorial Chapel. Entombment will follow at Lake Forest Memorial Park.
