George Jackson Sr

George Jackson, Sr. was born in Kiln, Mississippi in 1934 to the late Henry and Ardella Jackson. He entered into eternal rest peacefully on October 25, 2025, In New Orleans, Louisiana while surrounded by loved ones. He is survived by his ten beloved children, Brenda Singleton (Jerome), Joyce Brown, Lois Sanders, Pamela Breaux, Mary Stewart, George Jackson, Jr. (Adrian), Samuel Jackson, Aaron Jackson (Belinda), Rodney and Michelle Jackson; thirty-one grandchildren, fifty-seven great-grandchildren, and ten great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ardella Jackson, his siblings, Joseph Kelly, Dorothy Jarrow, Christine Thornton, Thelma Hollinshead, Samuel, Wilmer, Wilbert, Henry and Delphine Jackson, three children, Kenneth Jackson, Lorraine Slaughter, and Dianne Booth, five grandchildren, Patrick Jackson, Kirby Singleton, Theresa Booth, Levy Brown and Marvin Jackson. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service for 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 7, 2025, at The Boyd Family Funeral Home, 5001 Chef Menteur Hwy, New Orleans, LA 70126.
