George E. Jester, 80, of Birdsboro, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at his residence with his family by his side. He was the husband of the late Nancy (Martin) Jester who passed away in 2000.

Born in Kansas City, Missouri on June 4, 1945, he was the son of the late George E. and Gertrude (Barnoski) Jester. While still in high school, George felt called to serve his country and joined the United States Marine Corps. He was a proud Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. George spent his career as a Train Master working for Conrail. He also worked for Wolfington Bus Company for a few years after retirement. He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lionville. He was proud of helping to start the Glenmoore Baseball Program in 1978. They started out with just 34 kids and it grew to 265 kids. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially with his best friend, Bill, and he was a loving father and grandfather.

Surviving are his daughters Christine Siok, wife of Stephan, of Camden, DE, Michelle Evoli, wife of Joseph, of Coatesville, PA; grandchildren Tiffany Krech (Nick), Justice Roberts (Becky), Drexel Siok (Marissa), Zachary Siok, Erica Apollo (Matt); great grandchildren Isaiah, Lily, Ryder, Harrison, Isabel, Kaleb, Jayleigh, Charleigh and Hudson; a sister Diana Butcher and a brother Terry Jester. He was preceded in death by his son George Jester, Jr., and his sisters Linda Arendtson and Maggie Jester.

Services will be on Saturday, January 10, 2026 - visitation at 10:30 a.m. and service at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lionville, 104 South Village Avenue, Exton, PA 19341 - livestreaming will be available by contacting the family.

Donations may be made in George's memory to the Marine Corps Association Foundation.
