Judith Smith Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home on Feb. 16, 2026.
Judith Ann Smith, 83, beloved wife of Roy Horace Smith of Birdsboro, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Pottstown, she was the cherished daughter of the late Kathryn (Wentzel) and Alfred Reifsnyder.

Judith was a proud graduate of Pottsgrove High School and dedicated many years of service to Bell Telephone before her retirement. She was a faithful member of the Women's Auxiliary of Pottstown. Judith found great joy in caring for her home and family. She treasured her extensive collection of cookbooks and lovingly prepared meals and baked goods that brought everyone together around her table. Her hands were rarely still - whether she was knitting, sewing, or tending to her beautiful garden, she poured creativity and care into all she did. The warmth she created in her home was felt by all who entered.

Above all, Judith's greatest joy was her family. She is lovingly survived by her devoted husband, Horace; her son, Jeffrey Reifsnyder and his wife, Angela; her stepdaughter, Suzanne, and her partner, James Swahl; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one precious great-grandchild on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Kathryn Reifsnyder, and her sister, Dorothy Ford, wife of Peter Ford.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Judith's life at her funeral service at Brownback's Church Cemetery, 640 Ridge Rd., Spring City, Pennsylvania 19475, on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to All Four Paws Rescue. Arrangements are entrusted to the Campbell - Ennis - Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc. Condolences may be offered online at www.PhoenixvilleFuneralHome.com.

Judith will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her loving heart, and the countless ways she cared for those around her. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and family devotion that will live on in all who knew and loved her.
