George N. Kanda

George N. Kanda, 45, of Harrisburg, passed away on June 26, 2024, at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital.
Born on November 14, 1978, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, George was a son to Crispin and Mujinga Kanda.
George was a member of the Evangelical Center for Revival in Middletown. He worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Harrisburg.
George was very comprehensive to people's needs, always wanting to help or give to others. He had a heart of gold who always had a bright smile on his face. In his free time, George enjoyed traveling the world.
George is survived by his loving wife, Louisiane (Bamoni) Kanda; daughter Precious Kanda; and many more extended family.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024, from 10:00 A.M. until the start of the funeral service at noon at the Jesse H. Geigle Funeral Home, 2100 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110 with Pastor Jean Bruno-Nzey officiating.
Interment will be in Shoops Garden of Rest, 4400 Locust Ln. Harrisburg, PA 17109 immediately following services at the funeral home.
Relatives and friends are invited for a time of food and fellowship following the graveside service at 300 South Spruce Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022.
