George Kappes Obituary
George Luis Kappes, born March 25, 2025, passed away in his sleep on September 13, 2025, at the precious age of 6 months. Though his time here was far too short, George brought immeasurable joy, light, and love to all who knew him.
George will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Anthony Kappes and Britney Maisel; his grandparents Kevin Kappes and Carolynn Lee, Victoria Casares and Gary Maisel Jr.; his aunt and uncles, Brielle, Derek, Joshua and Jonathan and many other family members and friends who cherished him deeply.
George’s favorite moments were spent playing with his parents, watching Cocomelon and Boss Baby and he was always soothed by his beloved binky. His perfect smile could light up any room, and his laughter was pure joy—a sound that will echo in our hearts forever.
He was a gift to us, a reminder of innocence, love, and the beauty of life, and though he is no longer in our arms, he will remain in our hearts always.
Funeral services will be held at Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home Inc, 401 N 5th St, Stroudsburg, PA, on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 2:00–4:00 p.m., with a Celebration of Life to follow.
Celebration of Life at Paradise Community Park, 293 Keoke Chapel Ln, Cresco, PA 18326. Please join us in honoring George and supporting his loving parents.
