KROCHMAL, George - Age 72, of Linden, passed away July 1, 2024. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. George was born July 21, 1951 in New Brunswick, NJ, the son of Sergeij and Vera (Kuchabsky) Krochmal. He married Sharon Zyla on July 21, 1979 in Maui, Hawaii. George was a dedicated Corvette Engineering Technician at General Motors for 27 years. He was known for his intelligence and exceptional handiness. A natural problem-solver, he could fix anything, loved to help others, and always found ways to make things better. A nature enthusiast and avid snow skier, he found joy in the outdoors. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family & pets, and gathering with many lifelong friends. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; two sons, Christopher and Stephan; sisters, Helen Card, Susan Cormendy and Sophia (Dave) Edgar; several nieces and nephews.
