Mr. LaClare was born on January 7, 1943 in Wheatley, Ontario, Canada. He was raised and grew up in Oakland County, Michigan. He served his country honorably in the United States Army. He retired from General Motors as an assembly line technician with thirty years of dedicated service. In his spare time, he enjoyed classic cars, riding motorcycles and was known to "cut a rug" on the dance floor. In his later years, he enjoyed a good cheeseburger and num-nums (sweet snacks), watching Law and Order "Chicago Wednesday' shows, a good documentary and most of all, time with his "buddy", Dylan. He was of Christian faith. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Heather LaClare; and sister, Glenda Rush.
He is survived by his daughter, Tina (Charlie) Robinson of Green Cove Springs, FL; niece, Vicky Thompson of Pine Mountain, GA; grandchildren, Delainey and Spencer Robinson and numerous other family and friends..
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date with inurnment taking place at Christian Memorial Gardens in Rochester Hills, Michigan.
