George A. “Little George” Dillard, Jr., 55, of Albany, GA, died January 19, 2023, at his residence.  A memorial service will be held February 17 at 6 pm at Mathews Funeral Home.  Rev. Ross Powell and Jim Ervin will officiate.

George was born on October 1, 1967, to Dr. George A. Dillard and Sharon La Roza Ervin in Griffin, GA.  He grew up in Albany, GA and loved sports, participating in Football and Baseball where he made Allstars.  His other interests included music, animals and UGA football.  George graduated from Lyman Ward Military Academy in Camp Hill, AL and attended Darton College.

Survivors include his daughter, Jenna Dillard of Statesboro, GA, his parents, Dr. George A. Dillard, Sr and Sharon (Jim) Ervin all of Albany, GA, his sisters, Jessica Czentnar of Braselton, GA and Wendy Dillard Butler of Atlanta, three nieces, Ella Butler, Kaylee Czentnar and Kendall Czentnar and a nephew, Dylan Butler.

 The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 6 pm before the service at Mathews Funeral Home.

 Those desiring may make donations in memory of George to The Albany Humane Society, 1705 Oakridge Dr., Albany, GA 31707.
