George Modro Obituary
He was born May 27, 1939, in Beaver Falls, PA, a son of the late George E. Modro, Sr. and the late Olive (Campbell) Modro.
George was worked as a steel pourer at WCI Steel Company for 30 years.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and attended the Southington Christian Church.
Surviving is his wife, Janet Kay Modro of Southington, OH; three sons, Tom Modro of OH, Scott Modro of Oklahoma City, OK and Michael Modro of Monaca, PA; a stepdaughter, Andrea (Timothy) Chrysler of Waco, TX; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Marlene McCullough of Beaver Falls, PA, Beverly (Richard) Lord of NC and Linda Alfera of PA, along with numerous nieces and nephews from the Campbell and Modro families.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister who died at birth; sister, Rebecca Heaton; brother, Clifford Modro; and brother-in-law, Leroy McCullough.
Private family services were held at the Southington Graham Cemetery.
Carl W. Hall Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
