George Phillips Obituary
Funeral services for Mr. George E. Phillips, 80, of Eros, LA., will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday August 11, 2024, at Community of Christ Church Eros, LA., with Ellis Lewis, Greg McManus and Buddy Coleman officiating. Internment will be in Community of Christ Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.
Mr. Phillips was born on October 8, 1943, in Jonesboro, LA., and passed away on August 7, 2024, in West Monroe, La. Mr. Phillips was a member of Community of Christ Church. He coached Dixie Youth Baseball for many years, was an avid bowler and enjoyed being outdoors fishing, and hunting.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Betty Phillips; sons, Jim Phillips and wife, Dea, John Phillips and wife, Geneva; six grandchildren and 8 great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons and grandson-in-law.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Saturday August 10, 2024, at Community of Christ in Eros, LA.
