George Calvin Phillips, Jr., 53, of Milton, Florida passed away early Saturday, June 7, 2025.
George was born on December 27, 1971, in Haines City, Florida and was a US Army Veteran from 1992 until 1995.
At the time of his passing, George was a valued member of the 1st Choice Home Improvement team, serving as a skilled installer since September of 2016.
He was proceeded in death by wife, Toni Elysia Lewis; daughter, Porcha Lynn Phillips; and parents, George Calvin Phillips, Sr. and Hazel Phillips.
George is survived by daughter, Georgia Michelle Phillips, 34, of Milton, Florida and two grandsons, Wyatt Gene Page, 8, and Connor Chase Phillips, 7.
A Committal Service will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Road, (Shelter A) Pensacola, FL 32508, on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 10:00am, with Pastor Greg Nowell overseeing. The procession will meet no later than 9:30am at Olive Baptist Church- Warrington Campus, 103 West Winthrop Avenue, Pensacola, FL 32507.
The pallbearers will be Scott McCartney, Steve Smart, Daved Botonis, John Phillips, Billie Watts, and William Cook.
The family wishes to thank Emerald Coast Hospice for the love and care given to my father during his time of need and Tammy Rodkey as his caregiver and best friend.
