ALEXANDRIA, IN- George A Proctor,69, passed away on Saturday, July 20,2024 at Richard E. Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis following an extended illness.
He was born on June 28, 1955 in Three Rivers, Michigan to Walter and Ruth (Lucas) Proctor. He served in the United States Army from 1973 to 1979. He received the National Defense Service Medal and Expert M16 rating. George was a skilled auto mechanic and worked at various locations down through the years. He was always available to help out a friend or to share his wisdom.

4 Siblings - Karen (Bob) Carpenter of Osseso, MI
Sally Proctor of Homer, MI
Susan Proctor(s/o Koebe) of Coldwater, MI
Jim (Val) Proctor of Quincy, MI

Christopher (Marie) Benefiel
Special Brother - Jeff (Butch) King
7 Special Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren
Many special and much loved nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 siblings Betty, Sharon, Sandy and David,
A great niece, Janessa Van Wormer and a special grandson John Kaper.
Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will take place at the Columbarium in Marion National Cemetery in Marion, Indiana.
