George Rybolt Obituary
August 31, 2001 – November 14, 2024
With deep sorrow and immense love, we announce the passing of George Lee Rybolt Jr., lovingly known as Georgie. Born on August 31, 2001, at Home Hospital in Lafayette, IN, Georgie left this world on November 14, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family.
Georgie was a warrior in every sense. Despite the challenges of cerebral palsy and epilepsy, he faced life with unmatched resilience, bravery, and strength. His journey was one of courage, proving time and again the incredible strength of his spirit.
He is survived by his loving parents, Vicki Rybolt (Solano) and George Lee Rybolt Sr., who cherished him deeply and were his unwavering support system. Georgie was the beloved younger brother of Olivia Rybolt, Jaidriane Roe, and Jaquelyn Bojorquez, and the adored uncle of Elyas Reyes.
Georgie's joy came from life's quiet moments, like watching aquariums, listening to the calming melodies of Jack Johnson, and being surrounded by family. Though non-verbal, he had a way of speaking directly to our hearts, teaching us about love, patience, and the beauty of finding peace in simplicity.
A memorial to celebrate Georgie's incredible life will take place on Friday, November 22, 2024, at Soller-Baker Funeral Home, 400 Twyckenham Boulevard, Lafayette, IN 47909. Visitation will begin at 2 PM, followed by a service at 3 PM.
Georgie, you were a fighter, a light, and an inspiration to all of us. We will carry your love and lessons with us forever. Rest now, sweet boy. You are free.
