Nicole was born February 12, 1992 in Lafayette. She was a lover of all animals, and enjoyed listening to music and dancing. She had a great love of horror movies. Nicole loved her son with fierce unwavering devotion that defined who she was. She was a loving daughter, who brought joy into this life and loved her family and friends dearly. Nicole was a mother, daughter, sister and best friend. She touched the lives of many and will be forever missed.
Nicole is survived by her parents, Kerry (Tonye) Baxter and Cynthia (Lowe) Baxter; son, Abel Bower; sisters, Erica (Wesley) Bayless of Kansas City and Heather (Austin Levernier) Baxter of Battle Ground; nieces and nephews, Adrean, Natasha, Eli, Easton, Maddox, and Jace; and her beloved dogs, Leo and Bambi.
A graveside service will be held, 1:00 PM, Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at The Preserve in Springvale Cemetery in Lafayette. Share memories and condolences at www.hippensteelfuneralservice.com

Man, Nicole, we had A LOT of great times together! Back in the day, me, u, n my sister, Audree.... Rockin out to our scremo music.... Lol In This Moment, Avenged, Devil Wears Prada.... U were a great person. So sweet. Always wanting to please others! It's a shame I can't be in Lafayette to say my goodbye. So, I won't. Because it's not goodbye, it's, "see ya later!" U will be missed! Love u girl!
