George M. Ryon, 90, of Irving, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025, in Irving, Tx He was born August 30, 1934 in Whitewright, Texas, was the son of Jack Burt and Anna Mae Ball Ryon.
Funeral services will be Monday, April 7, 2025, at the Colonial Funeral Home, 606 W. Airport Freeway, Irving, TX, Minister Mike Batot will be officiating, and the Dallas Honor Guard will present military funeral honors in the funeral home. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until service time Monday, April 7th in the funeral home. Graveside services will follow at 5:00 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Whitewright, TX
George was a quiet, sweet and gentle man that loved his wife, Ginette, and his family. He loved to watch football, mostly the Dallas Cowboys, but if any game was on he was happy. We will miss him so much and send him our love as he makes his final journey.
Left to cherish George's memory is his wife of 67 years, Ginette Dhyvert Ryon; children, Linda Hogan, Sandra Ann (husband, Mike) Murray, Michelle Barbara Morris, & Jeffrey Eugene (wife, Brenda "B J" ) Ryon; sister Jackie (husband, John) Cosper; grandchildren, Christopher, Eric, Amber, Christy, Katy, Dustin, Lacee', Casey and Jerrica; 23 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
George was preceded in death by his parents, son, Patrick Burt Ryon, Kara Barry and his sister Nancy Batot.
