Mr. George "Georgie" Roy Schneider, III, age 50, entered eternal rest on Thursday, August 21, 2025, in Scott, LA.
Visitation for George will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Gallagher Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with Reverends Doug Westberry and Matthew Dial officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, in Ball, LA.
Pallbearers honored to serve are Charles Schneider, Dustin Schneider, Marlon Schneider, Jacob McDaniel, Steven Brasher, Kenny Nickels, Thomas Morris, and Marco Youngblood. Honorary pallbearers are Evan Schneider and Nathan Smith.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Schneider, Jr.; paternal grandparents, Irene "Noonie" and George Schneider, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Ora and Dewey Youngblood; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Charles Owen Schneider; step-sons, Jacob McDaniel (Tori) and Steven Brasher; mother, Linda Sue Youngblood; soulmate, Shannon Hebert and family; siblings, Angela Armstrong (Donny), Karen Casey, Dustin Schneider (Jenny), and Marlon Schneider (Rachel); grandbaby on the way, Haisley; and a host of extended family and friends.
Georgie was an amazing diesel mechanic. He enjoyed playing music, whether it was on his guitar or drums or him singing. He also enjoyed fishing and dogs. He loved people and had a huge heart; he wore his heart on his sleeve. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
