George Francis Schult

George Francis Schult, Jr. passed away peacefully on June 2nd, 2025, in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. Born on January 26, 1928, in New York City, George was known for his intelligence, wisdom, and remarkable handiness.
He was the beloved son of the late George F. Schult, Sr. and Lillian Schult, and the devoted husband of the late Margaret Helen (Meachim) Schult.
George's life was marked by dedication-to his family, his career, and his community. He leaves behind a loving legacy carried on by his children, Robert G. Schult (Natalie Migliore) and Diane P. Falvey (Thomas); his cherished grandchildren, Michael Falvey, Jennifer Mack (James), Steven Schult (Michaela), and Christine Schult (Joshua Cook); and six great-grandchildren. Each of them carries forward George's spirit, values, and unwavering commitment to family.
A proud graduate of the City College of New York, George earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, leading to a successful career with the Singer Sewing Machine Company. Known for his integrity and dedication, George was respected by colleagues as a dependable mentor and a warm, generous friend.
Beyond his professional life, George was deeply committed to service. He volunteered extensively with Habitat for Humanity, bringing not only his time but also his practical talents to the organization. Notably, after Hurricane Katrina, George traveled to help rebuild homes and restore hope to those affected by the disaster-an act that exemplified his character and compassion.
George had a deep passion for fixing and building. Whether it was a home project or a helping hand for a friend, he approached every task with enthusiasm and skill. His practical wisdom and can-do spirit made him a trusted figure among family and friends alike.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Logan Funeral Home, 392 Lancaster Ave, Malvern, PA 19355. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 a.m. George will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife, Margaret, at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens in King of Prussia, PA.
