Age 76, of Bethel Park, unexpectedly and peacefully passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at his home. Beloved husband of Jackie Suchar for 52 years; loving father of Michael (Maura) Suchar, Lisa (Brian) Masterson; proud Pappy of Emily and Michael Suchar and Brianna Masterson; brother of Shirley Mottiqua, the late Jack "Meaty" Suchar and Bill "Spider" Suchar treasured son of the late John and Anna Mae Suchar. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. George was in the Laborer's Union #1058 for over 25 years. At the age of 62, George was able to enjoy retirement. Most days, George would go quad riding in the woods behind his home. He and his grandson began forging trails and eventually keeping the trails clean. Now, many people enjoy this space for hiking in Bethel Green, part of Allegheny Land Trust. Due to COVID-19, a private visitation and service will be held for close family and friends on Sunday 1PM, until time of blessing service at 3PM, at BEINHAUERS, 2828 Washington Rd., McMurray 724-941-3211. All guests will be required to wear a mask or facial covering and our staff will monitor attendance to ensure gathering restrictions for everyone's safety.
