Mr. Turnmire loved life, people, cars and motorcycles. He was known as a helper around town – whether it was checking on an elderly neighbor, helping folks with car services and home repairs, or lending a hand with anything else anyone asked him to do. He was an extremely friendly person who always greeted family and friends with sincere warmth and a smile.
His family and friends will miss the laughter and genuine enthusiasm he shared every time he was with them. They will also miss his gregarious personality. Most of all, they will miss the brave son, brother, father, and grandfather who sacrificed his life
for others. John 15:13 – "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." ASV
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to charities of the donor's choice.
