Schuetz Funeral Home - Mingo JunctionGeorge Edward Vacheresse Jr. of Weirton, WV, passed away peacefully at home on September 2, 2025 at the age of 72. Born on January 11, 1953 in Ohio Valley Hospital to the late Jacqueline and George Edward Vacheresse Sr. He was preceded in death by his dog named Boo of 13 years.
He was a man who lived his life to the fullest. An avid Gardner, an extreme lover of hunting, fishing, and golfing. His first love was a drum set, the passion led him to an exciting music career of over 60 years; playing in numerous bands all over the country, leading to the ending of his career in the Ohio Valley. In addition to his music career he was a former boxer, nationally certified as a animal control officer, and always has wise comment to make while joking.
George is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Susann (Brady); His children Bridget, Georgie, Tanya, Megan (Troy), Buck, Shannon and his grandchildren Kashmir, Kelsi, Ronnie, Shae, DaiLyn, Daxton and AnnaMarie. He is also survived by his siblings; Cathy (Darrell), Judy(Bruce), Terry(MariLee), Nancy(John); his beloved animals Luke, Dutchess and Milo. As well as several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and Friends.
A Celebration of Life will be on September 14, 2025 at Betty Zane Community Center 964 Betty Zane Rd. Wheeling, WV 26003 at 12 Noon.
