Our beloved mother Carrie Eileen Pyles- Biddle, made her journey home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, she passed away on August 23, 2025, at the age of 89 in Park Health St. Clairsville, Ohio. Born on July 22, 1936, in Empire, Ohio, Carrie brought warmth and joy to all who knew her. She fought valiantly through many health conditions, demonstrating a strength that inspired those around her.
She was a Christian by faith. Carrie dedicated a significant part of her life to helping others through her profession as a Nurses Aid where she retired from EORH, and original designer of the Purple Ryder Knight Logo. Her compassionate spirit was evident in her care for her patients and their families, leaving an immeasurable impact on many lives.
She was a rare angel here on earth, she was the sweetest kindest most caring person to all who knew her, her smile filled every room she entered. With an unwavering love for nature, Carrie was an avid bird watcher, and fisherman. She would often spend hours in her garden, wrapped in the beauty of the world around her, sharing her joy with those fortunate enough to join her. For her, purple was more than just a favorite color; it symbolized the vibrancy and depth of her spirit—one that filled every room and heart she entered. She was a die hard Ohio State Buckeye Fan and Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Carrie was preceded in death by her father, William Walter Skinner, her mother, Iva Mae Skinner, and her husband's, George H. Pyles, and Larry Allen Biddle Sr., two sisters Leona Kurucz, and Dee Egan, one daughter Christina Sudvary, grandson Chad E. Martin and her Great-granddaughter Rylee A. Pyles. They are surely watching over her, cherishing the fond memories they created together.
She leaves behind a loving family that will continue to celebrate her life and legacy. Her brother Everett Skinner Sr. Daughters Cheryl (Paul) Klopfer, Ging (Jack) Mcdermott, Cindi (Joe) Staats, Cheryl (Paul) Harrison, sons Gregory (Karla) Pyles, Geoff (Donna) Pyles, Gordon (Maggie) Pyles, grandchildren Catelyn (John) Dunlavy, Clevie Starr, Paige Pyles, Hunter Pyles, Gage Pyles, Hubby Pyles, Geoffrey Pyles II, great grandchildren Cayd, Cohyn, Storm, and Avayah Dunlavy, Sydney and Andrew Martin, Daniel Jock, Geoffrey Pyles III, and Dax Pyles.
