George William Younk

George William Younk passed away peacefully on October 16, 2023, in Sarasota, Florida. He was born on July 23, 1929, in Ontonagon, Michigan.
George was preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne, of 61 years; son, Danny and grandson, Jason.
Left to honor his memory are his surviving daughters, Denise Younk, Sharon Duvall, Tracy Winslow and Tina Kegley. He also leaves 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
George was raised in Ontonagon in the upper peninsula of Michigan. In his 94 years, he was many things to so many people; a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend.
George will be remembered for his outgoing personality, sense of humor, loud voice and his many wood working gifts to those he cared for.
