Funeral services for Mrs. Georgia Anne Pendleton, 79, of LaPlace, LA will be 1 PM Friday January 23, 2026, at Dennard Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ryan Walker officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until service time Friday at the funeral home, interment will follow in Indian Creek Cemetery, Stephenville, TX, Tuesday January 27, 2026, all under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA.

Georgia was born February 28, 1946, in Winnsboro, LA and passed away peacefully on January 21, 2026, in Wisner, LA. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Pendleton and a son Johnny Barksdale, her parents Cornelius Mullins and Agnes Pippin, a stepmother Vanada Cobb, four brothers Walter Mullins, Lonnie Ray Mullins, Joe David Mullins, and Willie Mullins, three sisters Mary Faye Andersson, Annie Pearl, and Pearlie Taylor.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Elizabeth Ricketson and her husband Kevin of Angel Fire, NM; grandchildren, Hannah Carter-Vickers and her husband Justin of Gramercy, LA, Ashley Trahan and husband Tim of Hamshire, TX, Jeremiah Ricketson of West Hartford, CT, Jessica Ricketson of Kansas City, MO, David Ricketson of Angel Fire, NM, and four great grandchildren; a brother Charles "Ed" Mullins of Sioux City IA, one sister Cornelia Dale Berry of Wisner, LA; and several nieces and nephews.
