Georgie A. Kilzer, 73, of Collinsville, IL, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her family.
She was born on January 15, 1952, to Fredrick and Marie (Cotton) Kitchen. On February 8, 2003, she married Anthony Kilzer.
Georgie was a kind and selfless woman who always put others before herself. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures — playing bingo with friends, getting lost in a good book, and spending quiet moments crocheting. Georgie’s heart was as warm as the blankets she made, and her love and care touched everyone who knew her. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother and grandmother, a cherished sister, and a dear friend to many. Her gentle spirit and giving nature will be deeply missed, but her love will live on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Fredrick and Marie Kitchen; brother, Freddy Kitchen.
Georgie is survived by her blended family, Gwen and Jerry Wilson, Shelby and Cody Knapik, Justin and Brooke Wilson, Laura and Charles Schwoebel, Mike Schallert, Briana and Ian Brown, Nicole Schwoebel, Dennis Murphy, Tanya and Dan Reber, Tiffany Kilzer, Steven Kilzer, Miranda Kilzer, Kristalyn Kilzer, Samantha Holdman, Isabella Holdman, Joey Holdman, Judy Latinette; nieces, nephews, and many loving friends.
