Gerald Lee Bartlett,Sr 08/01/1946-5/24/2025
Jerry went peacefully at home with his wife and daughter to be with Our Heavenly Father. Jerry was born in Los Angeles, California. He joined the U. S. Army upon graduating from Albert Hill High School in 1965. During his military career, he was a Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Washington, DC, and served in the Vietnam War as a sharpshooter. Jerry had many different careers in his life; an independent heavy haul trucker, logger, ranch manager and dozer operator.
Anyone that knew him loved his prankster, funny personality. He loved his family and was a hero to all his kids and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Thomas Bartlett and Virginia Elizabeth Bartlett, his daughter Cynthia Hall, brothers Robert (Bob) Bartlett and John (Jack) Bartlett.
He is survived by his wife Dina Bartlett.
His surviving children:
Melissa Williams (Keith)
Paula French (Anthony)
Jerry Bartlett (Michelle)
Sharon Bear (Jonathan)
Zoe Bartlett
Bonus children (that considered him their dad)
Zachary Brooks
Dakota King
Kaylee Eppes (Chris)
Brianna Stevens (Caine)
He has one surviving sibling:
Betty Shatzer (Earl)
He's also survived by 17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held at Oaklawn Cemetery in Highland, Arkansas, Friday, May 30, 2025, 12:00 pm, with Military Honors
