Gerald Baum Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Parker Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. on Aug. 5, 2024.
Gerald (Gary) Charles Baum
10/29/1947 – 8/03/2024
Son of Richard F. Baum and Marie A. Andrews, he was also father to Todd Alcock, Ivan (Brett) Baum and Christopher Baum; grandfather of Tiana (Nate) Medina, Brittany and Jake Baum. He leaves two brothers – Richard L. Baum (and wife Dana), along with William F. Baum (and wife Rosemarie) and one sister, Debbie Zimmer (and husband Jeffrey) who will all miss him very much.
He is preceded in death by sister Diane (Baum) Britt and survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as friends Dan, June, Bella, Sharon and many more.
Gary was a Vietnam Army Veteran, and he worked for RTD as a mechanic, but his favorite thing was being in a band "Man Cave Warriors" – he played the bass guitar. The band consisted of a group of friends who had a wonderful time together. Sometimes too wonderful!
Gary's humor, loyalty, and kindness will be missed. Rest in peace.

Gary was such a good guy. He would give you his right arm if you asked him to. We had some good, not so good times watching his favorite Broncos play. Too bad Broncos couldn't have come through for him last year.

We will miss you Gary...they don't make them like you anymore. RIP my friend!!!!

Cindy Haynes, your Casa friend!!
