Gerald Brass Obituary
Gerald was born on December 29, 1956, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to Leslie A. Brass and Rosemary J. Brass Jackson.
He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, fishing, spending time outdoors, and hanging out with friends, often sharing a few cold ones and good conversations. Above all else, Gerald loved his family deeply, and that love was evident to everyone who knew him.
He will be remembered for his easygoing nature, loyalty to those he cared about, and the many moments of laughter he shared with family and friends.
Gerald is survived by his children, Heather Brass Smith, Joey Hillier, Chad Brass and Justin Brass; his three grandchildren, Chanel, David and Olivia Smith; two sisters, Debbie Martenies and Sharlene Loubert; nieces and nephews that he loved as his own children, Roseann Wood (Monty), Michelle Hanle (Chad), Jason Stull, Amanda Krull, Erica Gatt, Brandy Ivens (Michael), Allen Martenies, Theresa Timberlake (Michael), Daniel Loubert (Reagan). He also leaves behind numerous great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Those who preceded him in death were his wife, Andrea Brass; his parents; two brothers, David and Bryan Brass; a nephew, Rodney Loubert.
Services will be conducted on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Powell Funeral Home of Bradford. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. and visitation will precede beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Coffeyville Cemetery in Bradford.
Arrangements are entrusted to Powell Funeral Home of Bradford.
