Gerald Carroll passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the age of 86 years. Survived by beloved sons: Daniel Heyse (Tami), Scott Carroll (Mariella), and Robert Carroll, and beloved sister-in-law, Maxine Pais. Cherished grandchildren: Hannah, Kayla, Robert, Dani, and Monica. Loved by a constant companion, his dog, Juliette.
Gerald honorably served in the Army, possessed advanced education degrees, and took pride in his multilingual abilities. Gerald worked at Briggs and Stratton until retirement. He enjoyed fishing and crafting musky lures as a hobby, alongside a dedicated passion for rescuing elderly dogs.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 40 years, Roslynn Carroll, and son, Jason R. Heyse. Further survived by many dear cousins and lifelong friends he met over the years.
A private memorial service will be held for immediate family.
Donations may be made to the Elmbrook Humane Society, in Brookfield, WI.
