Gerald Lee Field was born February 17, 1961 and passed away on August 26, 2024. Gerald was full of life. He loved his family. He cherished his 15 plus grandchildren. Spending time teaching them and talking to them. He was their pappa (popcorn). He was a graduate. Gerald had been a firefighter, in which he took great pride in doing so. Gerald also loved the outdoors and having friends around him. Kerry, Mike, Dave and Billy just to mention a few. He was definitely headstrong, but a gentle man. His hobbies were electricity, and wood working. Gerald lived and breathed football, The chargers are his favorite team. He liked AC/DC, the band (BON Scott) He loved his wife with every ounce of his being. Gerald is loved and missed. Gerald is survived by his wife Loretta Field, sons Gerald Field, Kailo Cunningham, Lane Weems, Daughter Stacey Weems, Step children Zack and Ceian. 15 plus grandchildren, Siblings; Richard, Ronald, Vie, Mike, Rowland, Terry Piper and Ronnie Tolbert and many friends & relatives. He is preceded in death by his father Earl Eugene Field, Mother Delores Mae Giamanco, First wife Sally. Sister Lorraina, brother George Tobin, Brother in law Woff Hammerbacker, Mother in law Jean Hammerbacker, Father in law Richard Hammerbacker, Johnathan Hammerbacker, Doyle Piper and numerous more of family and friends.
