Frisch, Gerald "Gerry"; age 90, of Mendota Heights, passed away May 20, 2024. Gerald is preceded in death by his parents, Manley and Bessie Frisch. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Gail; children, Mark (Renee), Jason, and Loren (Michelle); grandchildren, Stephanie, Steven, Maxwell, Natasha, and Nathan. He is also survived by sister, Rochelle Whiteman; and brother, George (Elizabeth) Frisch. Born and raised in St. Paul; Gerald graduated from Central High School, went on to the University of Minnesota, and then passed the bar after attending William Mitchell Law School. While earning his law degree, he took a job at the Ramsey County probation office where he learned the ropes and made lifelong friends. His time in the ROTC led to service in Fort Gordon, Georgia where he achieved the rank of First Lieutenant. He practiced law for sixty years in St. Paul with his partner and dear uncle, Allen Nilva. Law may have been his education, but real estate was his passion. As a developer, he built over two thousand residential units around the Twin Cities. Past President of the Temple of Aaron, past President of the St. Paul Club, and Master Joke Teller, he'll be dearly missed by both family and friends. Family wishes to thank the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff of the Minneapolis VA for providing such dedicated care. Memorials preferred to Minnesota Department of Veteran Affairs. Funeral service 2:00 pm, THURSDAY, May 23, 2024, TEMPLE OF AARON SYNAGOGUE, 616 S. Mississippi River Blvd., St. Paul, also available through Temple of Aaron's YouTube channel: www.hodroffs.com/GeraldFrisch. SHIVA 6:30 pm, Thursday, May 23rd, Temple of Aaron Synagogue.
