Gerald J. Gerber Jr.

Gerald J. Gerber, Jr., 71, of Bethlehem, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at home.
Born on May 23, 1950, he was the son of the late Gerald J. and Ann (Antalics) Gerber, Sr.
A graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School Class of 1968, Gerald went on to attend Lincoln Technical Institute. Following his studies, he enjoyed a lengthy career as a salesman specializing in commercial and industrial electronics.
Outside of work, he was a member of the Terry Randall Trio, serving as their drummer for over 40 years. Gerald was known to perform at many venues including Krista's, Benetz, The Chit Chat Club, The Well House, and the Bay Pony Inn to name a few.
Gerald was an enthusiast for cars and Consumer Reports, the latest technology, and always looked forward to watching the Indy 500 each year. Above all, he enjoyed spoiling his granddaughter.
He was a member of Assumption BVM Church, Colesville.
Gerald will be lovingly remembered by his wife of twenty years, Anne Ortwein Kish Gerber; two daughters: Glennie Racz and her husband, Ricky J., and Jennifer Kish-Russ; granddaughter: Sarah McKelvey Russ; granddog: Bentley; sister: Anne Gerber; and uncle: Stephen Antalics, and an abundance of extended family and lifelong friends.
Gerald was a kind-hearted person and loved by all. Please take a moment and perform a random act of kindness in his memory.
A graveside service will be held in Holy Saviour Cemetery, 2575 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18017, on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 10:00am.
In lieu of flowers, Gerald's request was for contributions to be made toward his granddaughter, Sarah McKelvey Russ's, education. Checks may be written to Jennifer L. Russ and mailed to the care of Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018.
