Gerald F. "Jerry" Greenhagen

Gerald "Jerry" Greenhagen born April 7, 1948 in Omaha, Nebraska peacefully passed away on May 1, 2025 in Sacramento, California.

Jerry moved to California with his family in 1958. He attended Christian Brothers High School and joined the United States Marine Corps in 1968, serving with honors in Vietnam. After completing his service, Jerry worked as a mechanic at McClellan Air Force Base, where he later retired.

Jerry was a proud veteran, had a passion for martial arts and was known for his custom style and quick wit. He deeply loved his daughters, grandchildren, and family. He brought joy and laughter to everyone who knew him.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Agnes and William "Bill" Greenhagen, and his brother Greg. He is survived by his daughters Elizabeth and Theresa; granddaughter Kaitlyn and grandson Max; his brothers Larry, Terry, and Curtis; many loving nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

A memorial service will be held Monday, May 19, 2025 at 1pm at St. Mary's Cemetery and Funeral Center, 6509 Fruitridge Road, Sacramento, CA 95820. A reception will follow. His remains will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery.
