Gerald "Jerry" Greer, age 85, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025. Born on March 15, 1940 in Columbus, OH to James and Cecile Greer. Gerald was a retired truck driver. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Lacey and Cecile Elizabeth Greer; wife, Carrie Lee Greer;

children, Johnny Lee Greer, Tonya Lee Greer and Corine Greer; siblings, Dorthy Jean Greer, Norene Hall, Jim Greer Jr., Willie (Elson) Burroughs and Helene Greer. Survived by children, Jody (Mark) Tubaugh, Malena (Chris) Flint, Brenda (Charles) Stillwell, J W Monroe, Theresa (Tom) Manary, and Christena DeLong; siblings; Nancy Simpson and Robert Greer; grandchildren, Timothy Tubaugh, Landon Tubaugh, Tashena (Matt) Stingel, Brittany (Shawn Anthony) Thompson, Tonya (Timothy Gains) Thompson, Betty (Dustin) Boysel, Cheynne Flint, Shelby (Kolten Hardy) Flint, Jessica Van delaarschot, Joshua Van delaarschot, Donald De Long, Brenden De Long, Daved DeBoer and Andrew DeBoer; great grandchildren, Caden, Anthony, Joseph, Airanna, Ramada, Johnny, TJ, Zaine, Leeland, Chloe, Angela, Sophia, Alana, Haydyn, and Coren; many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Family will receive friends at the O. R. WOODYARD COMPANY CHAPEL 1346 S. High Street on Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 11 am until time of the service at 1 pm. Danny Abston officiating. Burial will follow at Asbury Cemetery.
