Gerald "Jerry" Fredrick Haddock, age 77, of Hallsville, Missouri, passed away on July 6th 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.
Born on September 21, 1947, in Kansas City, Missouri, Gerald was the son of the late Warren and Claudine Haddock. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy aboard the USS Kitty Hawk. Following his military service, Gerald dedicated over 30 years to GTE, retiring in 2002. Gerald was a man of unwavering faith, service, and compassion. He devoted much of his retirement to volunteer work with the Food Bank, Campers on Mission,Missourians on Mission, and Disaster Relief, and he served faithfully as a trustee and a Deacon at Hallsville Baptist Church. Known for his generous heart and helping spirit, Gerald was always quick to offer support to those in need. He is survived by his loving wife, Cinda; two sons, Rusty (Tammy) and Jeff (Michelle); eight grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Dennis Haddock. Gerald's life was a true reflection of selflessness, service, and love for his family, faith, and community. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the honor of knowing him.
A Celebration of Life for Jerry will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Hallsville Baptist Church, located at 115 Elizabeth Street, Hallsville, Missouri. Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m., followed by a service at 10:30 a.m. Burial will take place at 2:30 p.m. at Little Niangua Cemetery in Preston, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Jerry's honor.
