Gerald Hatala Obituary
Jerry was a proud graduate of Bartram High School, where he developed a strong sense of community. After graduation, he dedicated his life to serving the public as a member of the Philadelphia Police Department. His commitment to the safety and well-being of his fellow citizens earned him the respect and admiration of both his colleagues and the community he served.
Beyond his professional life, Jerry was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, and he could often be found cheering them on. His love for his teams was only matched by the love he had for his family.
Jerry's legacy is carried on by his beloved wife of 60 years, Sharon Hatala, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and constant bickering. He is also survived by his children, Christopher (Nadine) Hatala, Craig (Sharon) Hatala, and Carolee (Jeff) Waller and his ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be private.
